What the hell just happened?

Nee-chan just burst into the apartment not too long ago.  She threw the door open, staggered into the room clutching her shoulder (which was pretty bloody), immediately headed over to the medicine cabinet, and pulled the first aid kit out (knocking half the things on the counter to the ground in the process).  She then stripped her shirt off and started patching herself up, and I got a glance at the wound.  It was pretty bad.  She looked like she had been stabbed.

But that doesn't surprise me that much.  What surprised me was her attitude.  Every single time I've seen her, she's been bright and cheery.  She's got a higher pain tolerance than me, and considering what she does, I assume she's used to wounds like that (she patched herself up pretty quickly, so she's obviously got experience doing that).  But the entire time, she was crying.  Choking back sobs, muttering something like "bokka" under her breath over and over.  Didn't say a word to me, didn't even look at me...didn't even respond when I asked her what had happened.  She just came in, bandaged her wounds, and then locked herself in her room.

Seriously, what happened tonight that set her off like that?

Eh, either way, I'll try talking to her tomorrow.

You're a good guy, Messenger, but sometimes it's best not to get involved with things that you weren't there to see. :)

  2. Yeah, that was me, I stabbed her.

She went after my friends, before you get on my case. It was self-defense. Of other people.

Though that stupid fractured Japanese didn't help her case any.

  3. Your fucking cunt of a roommate attacked Cam's wedding. That's what fucking happened. You'd best hope you didn't have anything to do with this...

  4. Well, I was here to sour your mood, but it seems like I'm not the only one.

So I will have my say instead.
Yes, I kill people. Often in self defense, sometimes not. Though it WOULD be handy to bring up the fact that I killed most of those people while my brains were scrambled by the paranormal entity you feebly refer to as "Boss", that would not counter your argument, because you brought up the first time I ever decided to kill someone.

"My friend is being a dick, so I'm going to kill him." I would laugh if that didn't pain me so much. Being a dick? Dick does not summarize what he was doing. He was telling more people about your "Boss" so that they would either be ripped to shreds by him or by one of your friends. That's why I wanted to kill him. It may have been the only altruistic thing I ever did.

Which brings me to the fact that NEVER, at ANY point, did you address the fact that the main reason you and the people you work with exist primarily to murder of people who generally haven't done anything to deserve it. And you want to know why I think you avoided it? Because you don't want to admit it. You want to play the good guy, who does bad things for good reasons, who really doesn't have anything against us, but just happens to be on the side with the wrong colors. Well, earth to fucking Messenger, YOU'RE WORKING FOR A MONSTER. So congratulations, you've stopped your brother from becoming Slenderfood. What other reason do you have to fucking live?

That's what I wanted to say. Respond with whatever justification you want, but I'm done with you. Go cheer up your psycho friend.

  5. @Konaa and Elaine: thanks for answering the question, even though it was mostly rhetorical. Didn't expect an actual response. I'll elaborate more on everything when I give everyone a status report on Nee-chan. She still hasn't come out of her room. Also, Konaa, why would I get on your case? You stabbed the knife expert whose job it is to kill people. I get the feeling it wasn't an indiscriminate attack.

@Everybody this pertains to: let's remember to keep our comments in the appropriate comment section, shall we? If you want to argue about how Jacob is the worst man in the world or whatever, let's post that in the thread about Jacob, not in the thread about how my roommate apparently crashed a wedding and got stabbed. Nobody likes reading comments that don't make sense in context. It's inconsiderate.

@Anybody still wondering about the Jacob thing who's too much of an idiot to not get the answer I gave in that thread: Yes, he's aware that The Boss and his underlings kill people. No, he probably doesn't care. I'm pretty sure that I didn't avoid answering that in any way. He could have run, but I'm pretty sure he gave a reason for that in the actual post, if you bothered to actually read it. We're done with this, okay? I shouldn't need to justify someone else's reasoning for their actions to people I don't know.

  7. It's like Portal in here. You open up one hole, jump through it, and just keep falling through others. I didn't even realize the wedding or anyone connected to it had anything to do with you. Now, there are at least 3 more blogs I have to read to make a fair report. Fuck.

  8. The wedding does not have anything to do with me. I didn't even fucking know the guy and don't even know why he invited me in the first place. You really shouldn't have to read anything else other than what's here.
